Why I chose Mary Kay
Well, my experience was I was going to sell MK about 6 years ago, but was told by the director I assume that it would take me about 3600.00 to get into MK - which I was so mad about, I decided not too. Then she lowered the price to 1800.00....still not an option.

About a year ago, my mom decided she was joining. Knowing my parents financial state, I knew mom didn't have that kind of money, so I told her she was crazy. She kept on about how great it was to find a company that puts God First, Family Second, Career third...okay, great I was thinking.....I already know this, but you don't have the 1800.00 mini to get in....so how are you doing this? She finally told me that no, she found someone to sign up under, which it only takes $100.00 to get your kit....this comes with enough to do your first 30 skin care facials, etc. Maybe more, maybe less.....I WAS DUMBFOUNDED! SAY WHAT? $100.00? Are you kidding me? Had I known that then, I would have joined back 6 years ago...maybe 5, I don't remember the exact time....

Well, seeing mom get into the business, and immediately do so well with customer sells, I was like sign me up. I didn't have the money at the time due to various reasons, mostly because my husband just started a new job, so paychecks were on hold a little, etc. Well, you know God makes it happen if it is supposed to! Mom had some of my old barbie dolls, which she has listed before on ebay, and never sold, well she listed this time for my kit money, and boom they sold. I had enough to cover my kit, and even some extra change left.

Not only did that happen, but then I sold some of my own stuff as extras to cover my website fees, propay feature, so I knew it was truely a blessing from GOD this time! I was meant to be in MARY KAY. The timing was perfect this time.

You know once I got my kit, I went a few days of not doing anything with it, but looking it over, making sure I was ready. I got out there, and BOOM -- my first order $104.00 volume. So, I made $52.00 right off the bat! Then, I have just been out working here and there because of various reasons, girl scouts, friends with family health issues, etc. I can tell you that in only 3 real hours of work I have sold $430.00 in volume. That is in two weeks - but one real week of talking to people. My kit was the best thing I could have ever done.

I can also tell you that Mary Kay does have the greatest rewards system out there for real obtainable goals. Whether it is merely a ribbon to thank you for attending the meeting, a little bee for the recruit, the charms you get, whatever even that beautiful PINK Cadillac those are all some kind of thank you for your hard work and dedication to selling Mary Kay. I work for another company, which I love dearly, but seriously unless you sell about $25,000 or way more you don't earn anything but your commission. No thank you, no hey you are special, no jewlery. I love the company though, and get to try all kinds of new things, but don't get the rewards you get here.


Knowing our boundaries are limitless is the best reason to join also. We put God First, Family Second, Careers Third, and it's time to love the skin you are in! It's more than just skin care, it's perfume, it's girlfriend time, it's playing with make-up, and just having fun while you work for a change! In the past year I have personally made over $20,000 working part time, taking the summer off, and still making money. It has been life rewarding, gave me the confidence I lost staying at home with the kids, and gave me back myself!
